Mathinna Falls

About two weeks ago we went to Mathinna Falls which according to the Lonely Planet was a fantastic place to visit. They are 80 metres high on four tiers! Well we were not disappointed at all! It took us a while to get there, mostly because the last 6 km were on an unsealed road (pebbles and then mud...)! That felt so loooong!

Once we got off the car the atmoshpere felt quite fantastic and it never stopped until we got to the falls!

Il y a environ deux semaines nous sommes allés voir la cascade Mathinna, qui selon le Lonely Planet était un endroit magnifique. La cascade mesure 80 mètres de haut et est divisée en 4 parties. Nous n'avons pas été déçus! Il nous a fallu du temps pour y arriver, surtout parce que les derniers 6 km étaient sur graviers et boue! Ces derniers kilomètres nous ont paru si looongs!

Une fois sortis de la voiture l'atmosphère m'a paru très fantastique et l'impression est restée jusqu'à notre arrivée à la cascade!

I have almost finished Emma's bedroom so hopefully there will be photos of it here next week! Hum...

J'ai presque fini la chambre d'Emma, donc j'espère pouvoir mettre quelques photos ici la semaine prochaine! Hum...

Joanna: yes, the landscapes are just so amazing! Everywhere we go we're surprised or even blown away! The weather's improved in the last three weeks, it's spring now: a bit cold in the morning and quite warm in the afternoon so it's lovely! Emma's a real little girl now, not a baby anymore! She amazes us everyday: she was a bit later than her playgroup friends to start talking but now her vocab repertoire is pretty impressive! I think she's a bit advanced for her age (proud bragging mum :)).



Florine: LE ou LES prochains chantiers? ;) Hmm, m'occuper du jardin (j'ai déjà planté quelques légumes, je fais mes débuts en jardinage, j'espère avoir quelques survivants!), décorer notre chambre, repeindre le salon, nettoyer l'expérieur de la maison, et j'en oublie! Pfiou!

C'est vrai que les paysages paraissent mysterieux. Un vrai decor de film!

J'ai hate de voir les photos de la chambre. Quel est le prochain chantier dans la maison?
