Et maintenant, l'Ecosse.../ And now, Scotland...

Nous voici donc en Ecosse depuis un peu moins d'une semaine, et pour la première fois seulement, il pleut! Pour éviter de penser à la frustration que représente la recherche d'une location en urgence, je repense aux jolis paysages qu'on a vus sur le trajet depuis l'Angleterre jusqu'à l'Ecosse! Nous avons passé deux nuits dans le Lake District (où les histoires de Jeannot et Pierre Lapin se situent, où les paysages de Harry Potter ont été filmés...), et sommes allés visiter le monde de Beatrix Potter, pour notre plus grand plaisir! Puis nous avons conduit du Lake District jusqu'à Stirling (là où Shane va travailler) en nous arrêtant pour visiter le cromlech (cercle de menhirs) de Castlerigg!

We have now been in Scotland for less than a week, and it's only rained today for the first time! To avoid thinking about the frustration of finding a rental in such a hurry, I think back to those beautiful landscapes we saw on our journey from England to Scotland! We spent two nights in the Lake District and went to visit Beatrix Potter world. It was fun! We then drove from the Lake District to Stirling (where Shane will be working) and on the way we stopped to visit Castlerigg stone circle!
